Example:
- Patient is seen for diabetes, anxiety, and a rash
- 3 issues = $60 + $15 + $15 = $90
I don't count issues that are related as separate issues. For example, if I saw someone with anxiety and depression, I would consider that one issue. Another example would be someone who takes a statin for diabetes. I would consider the statin part of the diabetes and not a separate issue.
